We're delivering a new generation of care and accommodation for people living with dementia ~ purpose-designed Memory Care Homes.
Located in suburban Brisbane areas, our homes will look like regular residential homes with just four (4) or five (5) individual resident bedrooms and a separate carer’s room to provide superior, personalised 24/7 dementia care to residents.
Residents will be matched based on their gender, personal preferences and care level to support comfort, dignity and safety. Mixed-gender placements will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to clinical assessment and the informed agreement of all residents or their representatives.
With floorplans and inclusions reviewed by Dementia Australia, our homes include environment enabling environment principles to allow residents to live as safely and independently as possible.
Why boutique memory care homes?
There is currently an estimated 446,500 Australians living with dementia (Dementia Australia). Care options for people living with dementia vary depending on the level of support required.
When it’s no longer safe for someone to live in their own home, they may need to consider moving somewhere that provides ongoing 24/7 care.
Currently, the main option for this level of care is a larger residential aged care facility, many of which have long waiting lists. With demand for dementia care high and growing, our goal is to provide an alternative to larger facilities by creating individual specialist memory care homes designed for just up to 5 residents.
